Datagrunt 4.6.17: Internal Groundwork for Datagrunt 5.0

Datagrunt 4.6.17 has no user-facing changes, and there is nothing you need to do.

Every public API behaves exactly as in 4.6.16, including PDFReader and PDFWriter. If you are upgrading from 4.6.12 or earlier, the changes that matter are in 4.6.13: PDF Markdown output escapes four more block starts, and dominant fonts no longer change between runs.

What’s Inside

This release continues the internal building blocks of Datagrunt 5.0’s new PDF extraction stack.

That code is not part of Datagrunt’s public API:

• It is not exported from datagrunt, and nothing in 4.x uses it.
• It may change or move without notice before 5.0.
• It is not documented yet, and you should not depend on it.

Datagrunt 5.0 will be a major release with its own migration guide. Until then, the v4 PDF API remains the supported one.
